Belzoni, Mississippi | I started out with a John Deere 4440 with a 4 row disk when I was 11 years old. Drove my first combine when i was 12. It was an old John Deere 95B. I cut a good many beans with that joker. I choked up a many of days with it also. It really maked me appreciate my 2188 now. I have a son who is 15 months and I can see it in his eyes when his mom comes to the field and he sees me cutting beans or disking with my old tractor. It makes me proud to see him reaching up for me and wanting to ride. Im a third generation farmer and I hope my son will become a fourth generation farmer. | |
