Correct me if I am wrong but all 9750's had the 8.1l motor except a limited number of "Canadian specials" which were essentially pre 9860's with the 12.5l motor
05 was the last year for the 8.1 in the 9760s then they switched to the 9.0l which does have a bit more power.
I think you would benefit from chipping your 9750 they are known to be a little short on power.
