The guy I hire want $200 per hour. For an older one than that.
I used to be qualified to do a preflight inspection on a fairly complex airplane. I give my combine an anual inspection and I don't think we have lost 3 hours a year for 10 years or more down time. I can figure out weight and balance and performance charts for aircraft. I should be able to teach myself that unit. Right?
