North West IA/western AZ | I've got an older Schweis that I thought was a real powerhog. My 4440 would barely handle it running wide open. Then I read a post on here about idling the throttle back a little, and man what a difference that makes. It may not throw it quite as far, but it will walk thru snow that I would have had to clutch for at full throttle. I think the early ones had too small of a discharge opening and that is where the power is going. | |
