Northwest Ohio | Well we have been putting this off for the the last two years and I think its time to bite the bullet and build a Hay and Straw building. I was wondering for the guys that have barns now what did you do that you liked and disliked when building your barns. Whats the must haves and whats just luxury items. I am looking for storage of mostly straw so is putting insulation under the roof to stop sweating a necessity cause I have heard arguments both ways. I was thinking of going 60ft wide and 20ft tall, even thought about adding half the length to add room for trailers etc. to sit under. Maybe even have the lean to go past the side door so you could load in bad weather under the lean to. I was just wondering if you guys had any pics of your facilities, and any suggestions that you would like to pas along would be greatly appreciated. | |
