To me their isn't much maintenance either way. One thing is on electric brush is easier to cut out if it even grows up. If it is tall 48" woven it is easier anything less the old cow will bend it down to eat that blade of grass on the other side.
The cost of the woven, extra post and the wire and labor putting it up is the deciding factor. I know this twisted wire woven was about 227 for 660 ft. if it was 5 wire it would be less.
As a point of interest we have a lot that had older hog wire that cattle were reaching thru so we put it up off the ground on forever hook to the electric fence and now we have another weaning fence. Ben
