My son had his built from oak rough sawed 1in lumber. Stalls are seperated with a solid wall the fronts are half walls with heavy welded cattle panels. I know you said sliding doors so cannonball track and good latches would work, he used swing doors with the panels. Looks good, not as fancy as the metal fronts but works.
Stalls for daughters new barn??
