Unbelievable. I am at a loss for words. If I am paying with cash I absolutely appreciate being given the option by the waiter of deciding how much change to leave as a tip. It irks me to no end to have to ask for change to leave a "proper" tip. I don't mind having the extra bills as I have a cousin in nursing home who can use them in vending machine. But even w/o that I think it is inconsiderate of the wait staff. My daughter is waitress and I impressed on her to bring smaller change-just in case the customer needs it. If they had it they would probably leave an amount that there would be no need for her to return to the table in the first place. My 2 cents.
Speaking of tipping, wait staff and restaurants et al.....
