make sure you're on #1, and not on #6 (cylinder). It's kinda easy to do.
And yes, taking the lines off completely will help. I changed the inj. pump on my 4020 about 2 yrs. ago, and it was no problem.
Things are easy to get to, and the job is straight forward.
