Not dry corn but I know there's at least one farm in Ontario where they've modified two forage harvester heads to put a 2 row stripper head and a one row cutting head together on the harvester, so 2 rows have only the cobs going in as HM earlage and the third goes through as whole-plant silage. Seems like it would be pretty inconsistent if you had a poor grain-yield though.
