| You are right about the rpms. I use the clutch because then i know that the pressure is off the gear train when I'm pulling it out of gear...I have a mechanic friend that works on a lot of heavy trucks and he has told me the shift with no clutching group helps his pocket book thicken and advised me to learn clutching so have taken his advise... maybe its a bit like greasing,, takes a while to see the results of too little grease and many too little greasers trade before that time and don't realize the damage... overgreasing may sometimes cause a seal blowout but too often greasing has few penalties. | |
