I can honestly say I don't have your luck... I did think that something similar happened once, but it wasn't a good thing. I'd just bought a grey minihome and called the mover a few days ago and told him when the closing date for the sale was and to bring it to the shop on July 15th. Well, *JUNE* 15th came along and this same house mover pulls into the shop in the late afternoon with a grey minihome. I look at my watch to check the date, say HOLY CRAP! and figure I'd get arrested for taking a minihome a month before the closing date because the housemover got the wrong month. The couple worked and he could've really showed up right after they left for work and taken the minihome. Turns out it was totally a coincidence and he just wanted a place to park someone else's minihome for the night. Gave me quite a start though.
Precise directions, dates, and exact vehicle descriptions/serial numbers are important, especially when a third party (mechanic, mover, towtruck driver, etc) is involved! Can you imagine if this other fellow had said his combine died and need to be towed to the shop for repairs and you showed up and yours was missing?
