north central Oklahoma | Nobody peed in my Wheaties. I just can't believe how cheap alot of guys on here are. That esact thing happened just last month in Tulsa with us. I could see we were going to get back $10 and change. Was dreading asking the waitress to go back and change it. She brought a fiver and ones. Her comment is I have been doing this a long time. I knew what she meant. Someone in another part of a 'tip' thread mentioned that farmers were the worst tippers. I am not one of them, but it sure seems a lot on here are.
Sorry for the apparent sour mood. I just have a bit more compassion for the food service industry part that actually deals with the public, and just ask a few who have done it a while. Some diners are real anal about things for no reason.
And it is not receiving an unecessary stack of paper. It all spends the same to me. I guess you have never been caught with only a $20 in your hand after paying and the appropriate tip being some odd numer like $4 or $7. Leave the $20 bill, you might get better service the next time you go in there.
