Western Illinois | I ran a 2870 for years. A brute for power but can break the bank. 2 years ago I had the power shift gone through and most of the hard parts were out of production so it was recycled parts. The 2870 used many of the same power train parts as the later scani engine tractors. Good used transmission/driveline parts a getting hard to find. So the cummins takes care of the engine but then you still have the rest of the tractor.
After more transmission problems the Case was replaced with a red Stieger. | |
