North Central Kansas | I have one and I like it a lot. it's mounted on a Bobcat 773G (50 hp), which isn't any too much skid steer for the Timberline. Nevertheless, it works well. I bought mine used for about $5K.
I've not had great luck at trees greater than 8-inches, but it depends on how hard the tree is. Mulberry, hedge, locust etc. is harder to clip, obviously.
I've thought about trading this for a tree saw so that I could get some bigger trees cut, but I like that you can use the saw and serrated edge to pinch trees and load them into a pile or on a truck.
All in all, it's a handy machine and I've cleared a lot of ground with it. | |
