Ken, we put the fan on the side of the distributor and it sucks out the red dog, blows out of the leg every time we unload and when the dryer calls for corn. We have had no problems with pipes plugging since we installed the fan. The leg is 105' tall and the red dog seems to blow away with no problems around the buildings. Hope this helps, plugging pipes is no fun.
