Southeast Florida | I was hoping you'd throw in the towel and sell that thing to us!
All jokes aside, they are fairly simple once you open it up? I've had plenty of pratice dealing with those transmissions in FL. The company I use to manage had 350+ tractors with those transmission. We did all repairs inhouse. I guess thing have went up a little because the last one I was in was just over $2,500 to repair.
Note: Use TO4, 30 weight power transmission fluid rather than Hy Tran and fill it to the full mark with the engine running about 1,200 rpms. After we started doing those two procedures transmission lube problems stopped. We could get 20K hours from them pulling cane wagons and dirt pans after that. | |
