The trick to posting photos from your computer is file size. Mega pixels take mega space. A Google search of image resizer will get you several possibilites. If you r using Windows Xp I suggest the Microsoft Power Toy image resizer from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.... You can go to http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US... to download it. The other trick is you need to know where on your computer the pictures are stored. I have created a folder on my C: drive called photographs. In that folder I have subfolders such as 1st Look, farm stuff, family, places, on and on. Why all that? So I can find things. My camera has an SD card. I'll take the card out of the camera, put in a reader and stick it in a USB port. I'll copy all the photos (highlight them and Ctrl + c) then go to my 1st Look folder and create a subfolder with today's date. I then paste all my photos from today (Ctrl + v) in that subfolder. I then copy individual photos to family, farm, etc as appropriate.
I'm going to post a photo of Dee working on a tree this fall. I know it was from late October, so when I go looking for it I find the subfolder with the correct date and look there. If it is too large I will right click the file and one of my choices will be my image resizer. OK, so I am going to click the box at the bottom of this page labeled "Check box to attach a file (<100Kb)" and hit Submit. This page will disappear and a different one will show up with a browse button. I'll choose the file I want and hit Submit. When You get t this point hit Submit and go get a can of Pop. Because you have to wait for the photo to upload from you computer to the online spot for it. When it is done a different box will pop up. You can then add another or scroll to the actions box ad tell it you are done. It really isn't that hard once you get the hang of it.
