I’m not a patient person and I needed relief now. Thorogoods weren’t available without having to be ordered and with today’s issues of availability I went to the Redwing store and found an American made 912 workbook for $219 and they fit pretty good. They weren’t the most expensive American made but these are American leather and made in America. I’m sure the rubber is imported and that’s fine. I will keep you posted as to how they hold up. I’ll still keep an eye out for a set of Thorogoods as they seemed to be really good quality.

Thanks for the replies.

Caleb

I'd like to try on a pair of Thorogood boots someday. In regard to the redwing boots, the China made boots that I've tried in aren't in the same league of quality as the USA made redwings. I liked 4425s but they're discontinued so I've settled for 3504s. Break in is no fun.
