An agronomist was at the farm earlier this week talking about their company products. He said that you can't build copper levels in the soil. Is this true?? I guess that if it is true how come my soil test show a number bigger than zero. Current levels are on average 0.8 ppm.
Well, I was an organic potato grower for many years, and as such used an awful lot of copper sulfate fungicide. I do know, through soil testing, that I have excellent copper levels, and this is even on sandy, low CEC soils. Some fields are over 20 PPM, according to Perry labs in MO. |
