I don't know if they are still around ,but in 1999 I had a farm sale in Ks.I used Gilliand Auctioneer out of Minn. I think.They were very good.We had 5" of snow the night before the sale and I thought OH crap,but Ron Gilland was on the phone up to start of the sale taking on bids.It wasn't on line back then but call in's from people that followed this auction company.In my opinion he had phone bids on most of my bigger equipment before the auction started.It really made me fell good with the crappy day and all.I think it was a 3/4 million dollar sale back then,I am so glad I didn't use a local auctioneer .We have all been at auctions where the neighbors wouldn't bid against each other so thank heaven we have on line bidding.As far as buyers fee ,it is what it is.Take it or leave it !!
