You are basically buying scrap iron if its like you describe........ not a bin.you couldn't give ti away to most people.
I'm just trying to save you from bad experiences in your hindsight.If you are short on cash, you are too broke to take a bin like this one for free that is incomplete.
I agree with this guy. We’re in the land of chicken houses, so I can get all the free bins I want that need repair. New can be bought for $3-4k. It’s a lot of work repairing old feed bins. We replaced the top ring on a free bin once. It involves someone being on the inside while you take what seemed like 500 bolts loose, and then had to put it all back together. Wasn’t as easy as it sounds. It’s a job getting it all lined back up. This was on a 9’ diameter 18 ton bin. |
