Subject: loading hay on semi trailer

North Central Kansas
your opnions on a rainy day...
which way is best?
trailer has side rails for hauling hay in this example.

ends of the bales butt to butt length of the trailer with a second row up top?
or
the ends left to right with a second row up top.

I have seen em both and thought hmmm.....
The last way over the road guys can get more on a load, and you are not poking holes in the net wrap.

this add has an example of both if you are confused of my description.
