Central Alberta | That seems to be the mentality with car dealers nowadays, "the only way to get ahead is to do it dishonestly." We had an honest one in our town, but he didn't last long. It got taken over by a crooked outfit that screwed me over big time.
They still phone me, asking me to come in and buy another car, and I tell them exactly why I steer away from them by a mile. They thank me for my feedback, but next time they phone me, they seem to have have no recollection of what I told them the last time. I prefer to buy used directly from the previous owner. Better luck that way.
Read the customer review very thoroughly and with a grain of salt. They will give you a better idea of who you are dealing with than the gladhand who meets you on the showroom floor. | |
