If its a turbo they may require higher octane due to higher compression. You can get higher octane cheaper by blending regular 87/89 with e-85. Get an e-30 blend and you will have about a 93 octane yet retain enough btu's to not effect fuel mileage. At least that's how it works in a GM 6.2L.
