Step #1 Clean your tracks.
Step #2 Repeat step 1
Step #3 Park on some dry snow if possible

If you’re working in real muddy conditions I’ll sometimes splash some diesel on the undercarriage or hoe bucket to keep the mud from freezing as bad. Sometimes you need a tiger torch to defrost the hoe bucket and clean it out.

We’re clearing bush here with a cat and hoe and the world don’t stop just because it’s -40.
