Northeast Missouri | I haven't changed connectors, but installed a ball valve in the air line. For things that are hard to disconnect I shut off the valve, let a little air out (run the tool that's currently connected), then pop out the old/pop in the new tool and turn the ball valve back on.
I got a 175 psi compressor last year, but put in a regulator so when running air tools I'm running 90 - 100 psi, which makes connecting easier anyway.
