Subject: RE: I wish Chevy would.....

Nw Iowa
We had a accident last summer with a 2005 dodge diesel that only has 90000 miles where nephew rear ended a semi at about 10 -15 miles per hr on a gravel road on one of those days when dust was so bad couldn’t see anything. ( he is a very careful driver) Anyway he limped pickup back to shop and I looked at it and thought new hood, front bumper, and grill and radiator, about3-5000. Was leaking anti freeze but nothing damaged past radiator. ( no engine damage) We had a grill guard on which seemed to really help. Couldn’t believe insurance company totaled it. I think we got it redone for just under 13000 and that was using some used parts and cutting a few corners. Had we went all new parts could have been closer to 15-16000. Personally I would hate to insure a new pickup for what it cost to repair.
