Subject: GPS Receiver Sprayer Question

Hey Guys,

I live in Northwest Oklahoma where our biggest crop is Hard Red Winter Wheat. We have a Bestway 1200 Field Pro 3 Sprayer with a Raven 450 Monitor. I know the other night I asked about Calculating the gallon per acre. I drove it out in the field today with just some water to test it and everything is working like it should be. We have a Ag Express GPS Receiver that hooks into the Raven 450 Controller to give it its Ground speed. I noticed the ground speed on the tractor and the Ag Express GPS Receiver speed did not match. When the tractor was running 5 mile an hour the Raven controller said I was going 6.5 mile an hour. I checked the Ground speed with the GPS on my phone. My phone matched the Tractors Ground Speed. I believe the Ground Speed on my tractor and phone is more accurate then the Ag Express GPS receiver. I was wondering what you guys thought about this? Should I call Ag Express and see if they can calibrate the Ag Express GPS Receiver?

Thank you,
