Subject: RE: Question on round cab Deeres

NE Alberta
For me, the issue with starting the 4440 is that without fiddling with the "stop cable", it will fill the shop with smoke, even with a warm engine. So, for example, after doing an oil change, I hate to have the engine rev up before oil pressure builds, and it fills the shop with smoke. In that situation, I crank the engine some with the stop cable pulled out before I let it start. There are times here (it can get cold) when it probably needs the extra fuel to make sure it starts.
