seems like there have been 100's of thousands of them start this way for 48 years or more.....It seems strange that we are trying to re engineer them this morning.
This is true but that doesn't mean there hasn't been 100's of thousands of engine hours lost due premature failure from excess wear....
In our experience those engines need to be overhauled a little sooner than alot of other "regular starting ones". But that could be argued about all day...
