Is the Polaris belt a one size fits all from that era? Or is that the belt that is made just for that model?
That number was the common number in the older days of Polaris. Could be the belt length is a different length if not a genuine Polaris belt. I never had much luck with any belt other than a genuine Polaris belt all through the 80's and 90's.
Make sure the face of the primary clutch is clean and not have any belt residue on it either. |
