Leesburg, Ohio | I never have done a timed comparison, but we do have a 3" 10hp electric pump on our liquid fertilizer tanks, and it seems like the 2" 5hp pump on the water tanks can fill 2500 gallons on the truck almost as fast. I'm sure there is a difference, but I have been pleasantly surprised in how quick it fills, for a 2" pump. Once water leaves the pump, it is 3" lines, valves, and fittings all the way to the truck tank.
