I'd weld up double pits so they are shallower. I think a basement with a sump pump would be alot better than direct burry. You can buy steel for .45/lb here.

Use heavy heavy tube and atleast 3/8 flighting. No way would I want a 2 auger cart. Too much stuff to go wrong below.

If you had to use carts, I'd get jd 500's or eztrail 500's.
