NW Ohio,near Findlay
Von, have seen many industrial loaders at quarries set up with short steel cables so the lower step will flex with a hard hit, but stable for what we need. The wide rubber belting would work too, stone quarries have that stuff laying around, may have to double up and play with it for a while to get correct. The belting for sure would flex with the forward motion going thru ditches and also would flex up if you fell in a hole, but stepping on it would not bend much and stable. Also would not rust like a cable would. Hey Von, I'm up to 110 Degree bend on my knee, and nice to see you posting.
