Chopped a bag last year dry. I mean corn topping out dry. Still a little moisture in the stalk. Made feed. Smelled like silage. Looked like ground cornstalks and ground ear corn. Cows still loved it. If bagger isnt an option pack the bejeezus out of it and soak the top with syrup.
