I upped the number of gordens to 12, 8 thresh and 4 seperator and ran all 12 of the reverse rasps. Did 100 acres of wet crimson clover seed. For that crop, and in the conditions we had, they worked 100%. I am very happy with them and will be running fescue grass seed in about a week or so, then on to winter wheat. (no glen)

The whole point of the reverse rasps IS for tough threshing grains. Beyond that, I run helical concaves and my own helical grates. I believe the helical concavs increases the thresh crossbar surface by 20%(?), and the cross bars are at right angle to material. Cover plates are a great tuning aid.
