Both sides of the Mason-Dixon Line
Brian, you're not alone. We've had horrible slug problems this year. I saved a 10 acre field by broadcasting Deadline Bullets with our AMT 600 and a broadcast spreader, but the 40 acre bean field was a different story. Dad replanted that field last week with our 30" planter only because it has row cleaners, but the slugs are still eating away. I think for 2010 I may consider putting the insecticide hoppers back on the JD 7000 corn and Bean planters that we have and applying the bullets over the row while planting. Probably be too expensive to justify though.
