We have a Delmhorst hay tester F-2000. We can test in the bale or can test in the windrow prior to baling, this is very helpful before taking the baler to the field. We have harvesttec on the big square baler so we have a constant reading. Like you said before you be surprised with spots in the field and early and late in the day.
