Alternatively, you can get nozzle bodies that have a raised inlet that pull the air out of the top of the boom as well.

Just a word of warning if you have serious air issues, and run lower rates (like 5-10GPA), it can take a good chunk of the tank to try get the air out of the boom on each end. I've had a fair chunk of guys pretty unhappy with how much air goes out. Had one guy in Alberta that was spraying 3 gallon work and still saw the last nozzle body on the express cap spittling air out by the time his 1200gal tank almost empty. So you do need flow to pull the air through, for sure.

Alternatively, raise the boom ends up and then and spray out water before they get their agitated/mixed chem into the boom. Not ideal, but a quick and dirty if your conditions allow.

Not ideal for a retro-fit, but you can also get nozzle body saddles that mount on the top of your boom, that feed from the top of the boom, so literally no air is left in the boom at all. It'd just take the new bodies and rotating your boom 180°. Some liked that better than chopping off the boom ends without any way to go back.

Anyways, you have a few options.
