Bought a load of heifers to breed a couple years ago, had them measured and while we were at it we measured a set of home raised replacements just for the fun of it. Cut out about 15% of the purchased cattle and none of the home raised heifers. As a rule I don't have many problems calving heifers so I don't measure.
Pelvic measuring heifers?
