There is some tillage around here mainly due to chemical resistance in weeds. I like VT. Doesn't disturb the ground much but does get rid of some weeds if used early and smooths out the ground so planting is a little more forgiving.
Dale, have you succeeded in getting that corn out yet? Looked like a system went across your area plus a lot of other areas, today.
