If you knew what their profit margin/hd at the packing plant was vs your profit margin/hd for taking care of their hogs it would make you sick.

They make more $'s off of a pig in 20 seconds at the packing plant than you could hope to make per space per year in a paid for hog building.


They have done an excellent job laying off the high capital low return part of the business onto someone else.
