Most times you won't get the extra money out of them by feeding, bedding, tending to water, mineral and calving them out. Lose 1 calf and your profit goes backwards. If you are going to take the time to calve them out, you just as well take them to fall and sell them. My thoughts. Plus if you sell as breds….you can go fishing more often. Heck, even spend the night.
