| Cfreeman, it is run down to a 90 elbow and I think around 20-30' it daylights on the hill below. I cut the overflow pipe off about 2" above the concrete and used a rubber pipe connector with a hose clamp at each end so when the cows get to playing with it, and they do, lol it has flexibility and they can't break it off. I used smaller diameter pipe because I had it on hand. I bought a Ritchey float valve from a local dealer, I had to play around with adjusting the float a bit, but it shuts off when the water is at the top of the overflow pipe, and has worked flawlessly, wish I did it sooner.
