eastern sd | Was looking at the weigh bar brackets on the 3160, it looks like that would be the easiest way to raise it but I would be worried about not getting the load cells and the linkages straight enough and causing a scale problem. I had also thought about cutting out the section of frame that the axle is welded to then splicing the frame back together with a section of rectangular tube, then I could weld the section I cut out with the axle attached back on underneath and gain some height. Would like to look for simpler solutions first though. | |
