north Iowa | I here you, we had it last year but did get done by May 17th. This year we have 80 acres left to plant the first time. Really need some warm weather to get the corn to come up. On water logged side hills the corn is struggling. Alot of spotty stands. Tonight we will catch up on heat units the way it sounds. Record lows of 32 flipping degrees!! We have had 8 inches of rain since April 28, very few ponds. I have never seen so many 1/2 to 3/4 inch slow rains, at least they came slow. In North Central Ia if you didn't plant what is considered darn early you didn't plant. Very few beans in the ground. Hopefully Tuesday we can get done with corn.
