SW Wisconsin | Do you think it might work to also tie the price to the price of diesel fuel? My thought was to look at the historical average of the ratio of milk price to hay price according to NASS and run the average ratio multiplied by milk price. We could come up with an average ratio for hay:milk and another for hay:diesel and average the two. We could also do a rolling average, that’s just getting pretty complicated. | |
