.... all these ads help to keep the economy humming.....  these ads provide jobs to those that create the ads, and help pay the people in the industry that run the ads.   These ads are a vital part of America's economy.  :)

edit: just watching CBS News... they reported $5 Billion spent nationwide on this year's mid-term elections..... and I think the reporter said that does not include the races for state governors.   $5 Billion is not chump change.
