If there are fittings down there I ONLY use brass. Plumber I hired once said plastic is good enough. I ended up digging clear under a concrete slab by hand of course to fix his good enough. A waterer on top of the slab. You could put a chunk of brass nipple on a brass tee and secure those to a short end of something to anchor it. More important is a hole underneath the drain with a 5 gallon bucket full of gravel or more with plastic over so dirt doesnt sift into the gravel. A wood post next to the risor helps stabilize
